Periodontal tissue regeneration induction product Global distribution through MegaGen Implant

T&R Biofab released its dental bioresorbable membrane product.

Starting in February 2019, T&R Biofab will enter the domestic and overseas markets, with MegaGen Implant as its exclusive distributor. MegaGen Implant specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of dental implants and medical equipment. It occupies the highest market share among domestic dental implant companies in Europe and exports its products to more than 90 countries.

T&R Biofab’s bio-dental membrane is a periodontal tissue regeneration induction material produced by T&R Biofab’s own 3D bioprinting technology. After inflammation, trauma or implant procedures, it acts as a barrier to ensure that the gums do not grow into the space needed for regeneration of periodontal tissue.

"Unlike non-absorbable products, there is no need for secondary removal after the procedure. It compensates for the shortcomings of other biodegradables, and is highly safe due to its durability and ability to retain space," a company source said.

T&R Biofab was originally established in 2013 as a manufacturer of biological and medical devices using 3D bioprinting technology. Its major products include 3D bioprinted biodegradable medical devices, bioink for tissue and organ bioprinting, organoids (artificial organ prototypes) for invitro testing, 3D printing for cell therapy applications and 3D bioprinting systems.
